Managing Your Personal Health Record

NYC Health + Hospitals uses MyChart to help you manage your personal health record online, anytime. Access your medical record portal through the MyChart mobile app or website to:

Book appointments with your primary care provider, Women’s Health provider and specialty providers
Get medication refills
View your lab results and visit notes
Message your primary care provider and health care team
Providers can message you about your health care

Paying for ExpressCare

Patients with insurance may need to pay a copay depending on their insurance coverage, including our affordable health plan, MetroPlus Health. Without insurance, you may qualify for an insurance option or NYC Care. Call 646-NYC-CARE or 646-692-2273 or click Speak to an Agent Now, below.

If patients cannot afford to pay or are uninsured, Virtual ExpressCare will provide care and connect patients to trained financial counselors who can help them enroll in health insurance coverage or financial assistance through NYC Care, Medicaid, and Medicare, with per visit fees as low as $0, depending on patients’ income and family size.

You can always talk to an ExpressCare provider from the comfort of your home. However, if you think you need to be seen in person, head to one of our neighborhood locations across New York City.

* ExpressCare emergency room and behavioral health providers may coordinate other services you need which may have additional cost, including prescriptions, lab testing, imaging, and primary and specialty care.

** Ask for an NYC Health + Hospitals financial counselor on ExpressCare who can help you and your family enroll in free or low cost health insurance.

NYC Health + Hospital’s providers and hospitals are contracted with the health plans listed in this website, which means that they are in-network and participating with these plans.

Paying for ExpressCare

ExpressCare accepts most insurance plans. Patients with insurance may need to pay a copay depending on their insurance coverage. Without insurance, you may qualify for an insurance option or NYC Care.

Self-pay patients will be billed based on the following rate schedule:

Virtual Medical Urgent Care: $125 per visit

Virtual Sexual Health Urgent Care: $125 per visit

Virtual Behavioral Health Urgent Care:

Clinical Social Worker: $125 per visit
Addiction Counselor: $125 per visit
